11 Months

Kathryn is such a joy and such a MESS! She continues to be such a social little girl. She talks nonstop. This morning I woke up to Mamamama bababa coming through the monitor. She can say dadada, but those are the only words I recognize. Though I don't recognize them, she tries to say alot. And the funny thing is that if her mouth is going, her hands AND FEET are going too. She definately talks with her hands...(who does that sound like?) Her best times are when she is around other chilren or sees kids out. She regularly waves and says some form of hello/hey to any child she sees. She crawls constantly and gets into EVERYTHING. She pulls up and walks around the coffee table and just today she moved from one piece of furniture to the next, but she WILL NOT take a step holding my hand or behind her walker. The funniest thing is that she makes all sorts of faces. Here are a few!






She LOVES fruit and will eat as much as I will give her. She continues to eat vegetables out of a jar, but won't each any that I put out for her to eat. She loves to have a spoon in her hand, but doesn't use it at all. She drinks from (one kind) of sippy cup and barely uses her bottle, though when the sippy cup is dirty, she trots around with her bottle HANGING from her mouth. Her FAVORITE cup is my big turvis tumbler with a straw in it. She couldn't be happier than sitting on my hip sipping from that straw. She still loves to swing and read. Just yesterday she discovered a pen, which reminds me I think she will be left handed. She mostly picks up snacks with her left hand and when she was trying to use the pen she used her left hand. Her favorite thing of the summer has been the pool. She can't get enough of water.
